I am Emily Gordon Lennox, founder of EGL Bookkeeping. Having always had a knack for numbers, my introduction to bookkeeping came about while working as an assistant in a small gallery in London. I took on the books for both the gallery and the sister company, a small retail business. Managing the bookkeeping of two different business models and their various requirements sparked my interest to dive further into the subject.
Now a Certified Bookkeeper, earning Distinction with Honours with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), I’d be delighted to hear from you if you think my services may be beneficial to you and your business.

Whether you like to raise invoices yourself or you would prefer to entrust everything to me, I can do as much or as little as you’d like, giving you a sense of flexibility, safe in the knowledge your books are in good hands. I can also liaise with your accountant over any queries and make sure everything is in order for them at the year end.
Is your VAT Return a surprise every quarter?
I will ensure that your books are kept up to date to give you a clear picture of your VAT liability, removing any nasty surprises and giving you time to prepare for the VAT payment deadline.
